Wall-Hanging Basket Or Suet Bird Feeder Class

Completed 12.7.2024

Taught a small class in making these lovely wall-hanging baskets. The smaller version could still hang on a wall and contain garlic or spools of thread or special rocks, but I imagined it as a bird feeder that could hold 2-3 suet balls to make your feathered friends feel welcome.

The students were amazing and so kind and talented. All of them had smart hands before attempting weaving with willow, so they all did swimmingly.

And it’s a great beginner project as it doesn’t require weaving a base and the borders on both sides are simple track boarders with the ends left long.
