Wild foraged willow bark, cattail wings, dandelion, Siberian iris, plantain stems. Abby and I really got into foraging in 2024, picking weaving material throughout the growing season from April through September and then drying them down in the hay barn.

We didn’t have any real plans just wanted to see what we could do with them. Our favorite project was these tiny baskets and we taught a class in crafting them at that year’s Whispering Beard Folk Festival.
