The tireless folks who organize Sayler Park Sustains invited me to teach a class about willow with a weaving component tied in.

What an honor! But also what a challenge to figure out what a group of folks with no willow experience can weave in an hour or less.

So, a “simple” cone-shaped suet bird feeder was what we landed on. And it was so great to make a bunch of strangers sit in the grass and play with sticks.
